We’ve recently added a new salad to our menu: The Caesar-ish Salad — our fresh take on a beloved classic. At La Juice, our mission is to serve delicious vegetarian and vegan-friendly food, and this salad is no exception.
Traditionally, Caesar salads are a treat that only meat eaters can enjoy - but not anymore. Our Caesar-ish salad keeps all the familiar elements you love — crisp romaine lettuce, finely grated parmesan, crunchy croutons, and a rich, plant-based Caesar-style dressing — all without compromising on flavor.
What makes it “-ish”? We’ve added our own vibrant twist: shredded red cabbage for extra crunch, peppery radish, green bell peppers for a bite of brightness and juicy pomegranate seeds for a pop of sweetness. It’s a salad that’s full of texture, umami, and that crave-worthy Caesar tang — but 100% meat-free and absolutely satisfying.
Trust us, it’s worth a try. Order now via Just Eat: La Juice on Just Eat

While we are here... Do you know why it is called The Ceasar salad?
The Caesar salad has nothing to do with Roman emperors, ancient history or Julius Caesar. Shocking!
The Caesar salad actually got its name from a man named Caesar Cardini, an Italian-American chef. He was running a restaurant in Tijuana (Mexico) back in the 1920s. Legend has it that during a particularly busy Fourth of July weekend, the kitchen was running low on supplies. Caesar whipped up a salad with whatever he had on hand — romaine lettuce, some croutons, parmesan, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, a bit of flair — and bam, the Caesar salad was born.
People loved it. Word spread, and the salad evenntually ended up on menus all over the world.
So next time you’re crunching into a Caesar salad, just know — it’s not Roman, it’s not royal, but it is the result of a creative chef thinking on his feet. Pretty cool!
